Chateau Virlet – Getting there

By plane

You can fly either to the Airport of Bordeaux or to the Airport of La Rochelle
From La Rochelle, the distance to Pérignac is about 100 kilometers, from Bordeaux it is 117 km

Coming from the Airport of Bordeaux, you first have to take the bus to the Bordeaux Saint-Jean train station
Coming from the Airport of La Rochelle Airport, the best option is to take a taxi to the train station of La Rochelle first
From the train station of Bordeaux or La Rochelle, take the train to Saintes. From there, a taxi can get you to Pérignac
If you arrive in Cognac by train, take a taxi to Pérignac
The closest train station is in Pons (approximately 9km from Pérignac). Taxis are however difficult to find

Use the GPS, or:
Coming from Bordeaux: Take the A10/E5 and get off at the exit for Pons. Then, take the route to Pérignac (either via the D137 in the direction of Saintes, getting off at the exit to Montils and continue towards Virlet, or use the D732 from Pons that takes you to Virlet via the crossing of the D232 in Bougneau)
Coming from La Rochelle: Follow the D137 and then the D136 towards Montils.
